October has arrived!

We've now reached the Month of October and Fall has arrived, giving colder months ahead along with more holiday celebrations to be aware of. But we had a lot of great moments in September!

We start with the standard Fourth Friday appearance, both last Friday (09/26/2025) and this upcoming Zombie Walk (10/24/2025). We actually had a good turnout, but unfortunately, we had to call it early due to the downpour of rain that happened later that night, still, we reminded the community the importance of staying aware of their vitals and even helped some expecting mothers giving birth in the Cape Fear Valley Hospital System about our Family Connects Program.

Now this month is going to be active as well!

As we said before, Fourth Friday will be a special one (weather permitting, of course) as it is the annual Zombie Walk!

Many people will dress up in Halloween decorative costumes and parade through downtown Hay Street, looking to be as spooky as can be. And we will be at our tent offering health screenings (blood pressure and blood sugar), and a few bits of candy for the little ones that stop by...only a week out before the BIG candy-grabbing day...

We are also, once again, partnering with Greater Life of Fayetteville | PIN with a special October Tight'N It Up Workshop that will be hosted via Zoom. The details are being finalized, but we will have the information available on the Website, so don't miss out!

As the months get colder and the Holiday season starts picking up rapidly, Carolina Collaborative Community Care still helps out with providing our services where we can to our patients that need them! Stay safe and warm, and looking forward to seeing you all next month!
